GREGORY ERICKSON Trombone, Euphonium, Trumpet Gregory Erickson is an Assistant Professor at New York University and is also on the faculty of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and Mannes College of Music. He currently performs as a trombonist with many area orchestras, chamber groups, and new music ensembles including the Goliard Ensemble, the Bronx Opera Orchestra, and the Symphonic Brass Alliance. He has premiered many pieces for solo trombone and has recorded solo works on Albany Records. He has a PhD from the City University of New York and is the author of two books and numerous articles. He was the Classical Division Director of the Brooklyn Conservatory from 2001-2005.
